Bookshelf
In the resource center of the “Disability and Inclusive Development” NGO, we operate a public bookshelf.
The bookshelf was created with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, within the frameworks of the project “Information Accessibility without Discrimination”.
The bookshelf contains printed, digital and audio books on disability and human rights that can be useful in conducting research and for obtaining new knowledge about the field.
Our more than 80 books in Armenian and English languages cover various issues—international law, gender studies, music studies, mental health, education, etc.
Journalists, researchers and all individuals interested in disability studies can take advantage of the bookshelf. For readers with disabilities, there are assistive technologies available in the center. More detailed information on which can be found here:
If there are books you would like to find on the bookshelf, you can suggest those by sending an electronic message.
Apart from that, you can expand our library by donating books on disabilities or human rights.
